Sandalwood Extra Care

Sandalwood Extra Care is a purpose-built later living development in Wigan, providing high-quality accommodation and support facilities for residents aged 55 and over. Atlantic Group delivered electrical installation works, helping create a modern, sustainable and community-focused living environment.

The project aimed to provide high-quality extra care housing that enables residents to maintain independence while benefiting from on-site support and communal facilities. Designed to meet growing demand for specialist accommodation, the development promotes wellbeing, social interaction and sustainable living within a purpose-built community setting.

Atlantic Group delivered electrical installations throughout the development, supporting the construction of modern apartments and shared community spaces. Working closely with the wider project team, services were carefully coordinated to meet the operational requirements of a specialist care environment while maintaining programme efficiency.

The completed development delivers 80 one and two-bedroom apartments alongside extensive communal facilities designed to support independent living and resident wellbeing. Atlantic Group's contribution helped create a high-quality extra care community
