Astley Place is a landmark town centre regeneration project in Newcastle-under-Lyme, transforming a former shopping centre into a vibrant mixed-use destination. Atlantic Group was appointed to deliver the full mechanical and electrical package across the development.


The Aim

The project aims to revitalise a key town centre site by creating a thriving mixed-use community. The development will deliver high-quality residential accommodation, independent retail and hospitality spaces, public realm improvements and a new music venue, supporting economic growth and long-term regeneration within Newcastle-under-Lyme.

The Solution

Working alongside Capital&Centric, AC1 Construction, Futureserv and JM Architects, Atlantic Group was appointed to deliver the full mechanical and electrical installation package. Through close collaboration and careful coordination, the works are supporting the successful transformation of a complex brownfield site into a modern community destination.

The Outcome

Upon completion, Astley Place will provide 42 new apartments, over 11,000 sq ft of commercial space and enhanced public areas for residents and visitors. The development will breathe new life into the town centre, creating opportunities for local businesses while supporting sustainable urban regeneration.
